AllYouNeedProject.org, a new website designed to help Beatles fans find jobs and to help Beatles fans employers locate great employees, is up and ready for business. Created and donated by BeatlesNews, the website is free to any Beatles fan who would like to post a confidential resume, or network with other fans who might know of available jobs across the United States…or overseas!
Sponsored by Jude and Rande Kessler of OnTheRockbooks.com, Joe Johnson’s Beatles Brunch, TheBeatlesRarity.com, and BeatlesNews, the initiative is just one way of reaching out to help those who are looking for employment in the Beatles community.
“The site is completely safe and confidential,” explained website guru, Dave Haber, the owner of BeatlesNews. “Prospective employees’ private information will not be available for general viewing. However, employers will be given a way to get in touch with job-seekers whose resumes are of interest to them. Those job seekers’ general qualifications and the regions in which they want to live and work will be posted on the site to interest and intrigue possible employers. Additional contacts will be made directly, employee to employer.”
Furthermore, Lennon biographer, Jude Kessler, will be tweeting about the registered job seekers each day, letting her readers know about Beatles fans who are ready to go back to work. “I’ve already been able to connect one Beatle fan with a potential job in the Beatles world,” Kessler commented. “And the more prospective employees that register, the more employers will seek out our site.”
There is no fee for registration on AllYouNeedProject.org, and the site is extremely user-friendly. “It is just one way for the Beatles community to show love in action,” Kessler said. “We all sing ‘love is all you need,’ but this is one way to live those lyrics out. We urge Beatles community employers to glance at the site once a week, and we urge those who are looking for work to take advantage of this free networking opportunity.”
Joe Johnson of Beatles Brunch has graciously agreed to advertise the site on his weekly radio show and in his newsletter, and Happy Nat of TheBeatlesRarity.com has also agreed to provide free publicity for the job seekers. “We all want to pitch in and help,” Johnson stated. “Beatles people helping Beatles people. That’s what this is all about.”
Although the unemployment rate has dropped a bit lately, there are still many Beatles fans out there without jobs. Kessler and her husband experienced this first-hand in 2010. “Without the help of a long-time family friend,“ Rande Kessler commented, “we would have waited much longer to find the right career opportunity. We were really blessed to have a friend assist us. Now we want to pay it forward.”
