Good one, Nat. Love seeing how the great songs were put together.

The decision to have Paul assist during the redo of the vocal track really gave the final version of this song a lot more tenderness than it has here.

Yeah, you can really tell Billy is playing Hammond when you hear it isolated.

Key, Billy is there too on the Hammond organ but the piano is John. A few sources reference this including John Winn’s “That Magic Feeling”.

Hey, Nat! Silly question – where did you see it listed as John on piano? I TRULY believe you, but I’ve read things in the past that said it was also Billy. It sounds more like it would be John since whoever it is doesn’t understand how the sustain pedal works…

Another great rarity – and I was JUST listening to this take a few nights ago as well as a “monitor mix” from an old CNN broadcast during the Anthology time period.
