A sealed copy of The Beatles controversial album Yesterday And Today will go up for auction this week at Heritage Auction Galleries in New York. A good condition copy alone is very rare, but a sealed copy goes way beyond that. The lot description reads that it is the finest copy that they have seen and it is expected to bring $30,000 (bidding begins at $15,000). Included with this precious record is a letter from Beatles-expert Perry Cox stating it is the finest copy he has ever seen, as well. The auction begins on Friday, February 18 snd more information is available at this Goldmine Magazine article. For more info on this album, read my article in the Collector’s Corner.
