A Chat with Brian Ray – guitarist/bassist for Paul McCartney

Most Paul McCartney fans are already well aware of Brian Ray, who began his position as guitarist and bassist in Paul McCartney’s band on February 3, 2002 during the pre-game show of Super Bowl XXXVI in New Orleans, when Paul performed his post-9/11 anthem Freedom. Brian apparently hasn’t looked back since. After wrapping things up with Paul’s recent Up And Coming tour, Brian has released his sizzling second solo album This Way Up. In a phone interview for Fab 4 Radio and TheBeatlesRarity.com, I had the pleasure of speaking with Brian just yesterday (Sep. 18, 2010) about his new release, some of his experiences in Paul’s band, and even his earlier days with an impressive host of other musicians I’m sure you know about. Listen in and let Brian tell you more.

"I Found You" is pop perfection. I'm going to have to take a serious look at his two CDs. Thanks, Nate/Mark!

Um...that's Nat, not Nate. But yeah. Both his albums are great. I didn't mean for that to rhyme, btw.

Wonderful interview with Brian Ray. Dig both of his albums. The new one is amazing.
