It’s kind of funny that you saw the “tribute” band in 1999 – 11 years ago, yet THE BEATLES weren’t around 11 years total.

Chip I saw them in 1999. It was a great show! In fact it was my birthday and the woman I was with had secretly arranged for me to get called up on stage while they played “Birthday”. I was so embarrassed.

I love how the audience members were doing their screaming from their seats. Very polite.

On a side note: I see the ad for “Rain – A Tribute to The Beatles” just to the right of this box. A couple of weeks ago, “1964 – The Tribute” came through town and my wife and I went to see them. It was FANTASTIC! If you have an opportunity to see them, do. It was buggy that night and “John” complained about it from the stage. I threw him some bug spray and he threw me his guitar pick as a thanks. I (almost) felt like I got the real John’s pick. I also got “George’s” and “Ringo’s” autograph.

The “Paul” in “1964″ plays left-handed, which the one in “Rain” doesn’t. I really think that’s unconscionable. They lose credibility with me because of it.
