Yes I did! She was great and very well-loved by all. I didn’t get a chance to interview her though because she was very busy interviewing everyone else. She did her interviews on stage for benefit of the audience and I could tell she was very knowledgeable by the questions she asked.

Did you catch Terri Hemmert at all? It’s been years since I lived in Chicago but she was always great on XRT and such a huge Beatle fan.

Denny has an entire album of Buddy Holly covers called Holly Days you might want to check out. The CD is out of print, but I saw a few used vinyls of it for sale on Amazon.

It was incredible! I stayed happily very busy because there is SO MUCH to do. I am still catching up on my sleep. Chicago is a blast even if there is no Beatle Fest in town but combine those two things and I’m in a dangerously happy state of frazzle.

Funny, I’ve recently been digging the Japanese Tears album a lot.
I would sure love to see Denny and Paul together again. I bet you had fun at festival.

I heard a great Denny Laine cover of the song “Rave On,” the other day. I always dug him as a Wing and I would enjoy reading a book penned by him. Thanks for sharing.
