Junior’s Farm – Live on ‘Wings Over Australia’ tour 1975

Wings, 1975This clip comes from the 1975 Wings Over Australia leg of Paul McCartney & Wing’s 1975-76 World Tour. The date was November 13, 1975 and the venue was the Myer Music Bowl in Melbourne. The Wings line-up at the time was my favorite: Paul, Linda, Denny Laine, Jimmy McCulloch and Joe English. I thought the clip was of particular interest because despite the vastness of the standard McCartney catalog, there are no official live accounts of Junior’s Farm.

I fell back in love with this song when Wingspan came out. Nice to have a live version to look at.

I'm going to chip in for a bag of cement.

I saw this version of Wings at the Chicago Stadium. I had 13th row, Center Section seats. I recently scanned a couple of pictures I took from the concert and sent them to the girl I went with. The picture quality is pretty sorry, that's for sure, but they brought back all sorts of memories.

Aw, what a nice surprise that must have been for her. I saw this line-up, too... at the Fabulous Forum. But I can't find my photos, which were probably taken with my Kodak Instamatic. But I'm sure my friend and I looked groovy in our Dittos jeans, rainbow tube tops, and Korkies platforms!
