Nor do I hear his name mentioned in connection with the whole Mersey sound and the stable of talent he had. It could very well be that by the time the 3rd album was made that they realized the importance of George Martin and their own talents. When she went to college a couple of years ago I made her a DVD full of pictures of the family and set it to this song. I'm not sure she ever got homesick enough to look at it, but that's a different story. On a different note, seeing the clips of Brian makes me ask this question: He's certainly been shrugged off by the "official press" (think Rock & Roll HoF, for instance) but it also seems like the Beatles themselves shrugged him off. You rarely hear his name mentioned. I'd be curious to hear why the group thinks that is? One of my daughter’s favorite Beatles songs.
