I agree. This video footage is the best around. Thanks so much for posting the clip with Yoko and the gang joining Ringo onstage. Ringo was funny when they were singing "Give Peace A Chance" and sidled over to Yoko and said "It's your song". The cake was awesome. Cudos to the baker. Without sounding maudlin and I imagine that this is the proper forum to say that as a Beatles/ex-Beatles fan (there must be a better suited word than "fan" somewhere), that the love Ringo's friends have for him is moving after so long a life. Seeing that fate has left our world without the physical presence of John & George, having Ringo, Paul and Yoko come together onstage leaves me rather melancholy. I like it.

Good points, Chip! I was hoping it would be included on some future All-Starrs DVD release and that this footage would only be to hold us over.

I gotta give the guy who shot this credit. It's not really the best footage, but I'm sure if I were there and I got out my camera I would been much to distracted to take anything worth saving, let alone post on the internet. I've seen this a few different times now and each time about all I can say is, "WOW"! What a thrill that had to have been for everyone there.

And how about the fans who got Ringo's sticks? I'd frame them and hang it on the wall for everyone to see.

Also, I made sure my whole family did our part with Peace and Love on his birthday.

Somehow I was on the computer this morning around midnight (very late for me) and saw this clip about 20 minutes after it was posted. I had been listening to Ringo all night with my housemates. Boy, what a thrill to see this. It reminded me of an Earthday show I saw at the Hollywood Bowl in the early 90's. I trembled and began to hyperventilate when Ringo came out to join Paul's set. That was one of the best moments of my entire life.

Again, Happy Birthday Ringo!
