Beatles Rarity Of The Week – I’ll Follow The Sun (Live at The Olympia Theatre)

Posted by on November 2, 2009 at 8:23 am.

It was back in January 1964 when The Beatles first took the stage at the Olympia Theatre in Paris, France. This was just before their first trip to America and the point where it is said they conquered the world. On October 22, 2007, Paul McCartney returned to this historic venue. Accompanied by his touring band (Rusty Anderson, Brian Ray, Abe Laboriel Jr. and Wix Wickens), Paul delivered a complete performance, nearly 44 years after his first visit there. The A&E network filmed the show and broadcasted a one-hour special of the event on December 29, 2007. Of course, with such a time constraint, there were a good many songs that were not aired, including this one.
