Beatles Rarity Of The Week – She Came In Through The Bathroom Window (from Get Back sessions)

The BROW is coming to you early this week due to me being in travel mode for the rest of the week. This version of Paul’s She Came In Through The Bathroom Window was recorded at a rehearsal in Apple studios on Jan. 29, 1969 during the Get Back sessions, just one day before the infamous rooftop gig seen in the Let It Be film and well before it saw it’s final form on the Abbey Road album released some eight months later. The tempo is much slower and bluesier here and there is a lot more guitar from George and although the enthusiasm was lacking in comparison to the official version, it is interesting to see how the song was taking shape at this early stage.

Interesting but, man, someone should have taken the battery out of that wah-wah pedal. Not appropriate AT ALL.
